FAQ

What makes Kalia Yojana better than Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi?

Firstly, both PM Kisan and Kalia Yojana have similar features and benefits. PM Kisan is a national scheme, whereas Kalia is a State Government scheme. In Kalia, beneficiaries will get Rs.5000/- whereas in PM Kisan, the installment amount is Rs.2000/-. Second, Kalia offers benefits to landless farmers where PM Kisan does not. These two benefits make Kalia better than PM Kisan.

How is Kalia Yojna better than a loan waiver?

When the Government offers a loan waiver, the main farmer does not get the benefit. Most of the benefit goes to medium and large farmers. But in Kalia Yojana, the small and marginal farmer and the landless farmer get a direct benefit from Kalia Yojana.

What to do if my Kalia Payment is stopped?

There are so many reasons for the Kalia Payment stop. One of the most common reasons is not completing the e-KYC process. First of all, check the beneficiary status. If the Application Status asks you to complete KYC by clicking here, then do it immediately. Or, if any supporting documents are needed, upload them to the website. After that, your payment will be released.

One family has multiple children and the father has died, so how can you get help with the Kalia scheme?

A family is a unit and the family is said to be the husband, wife, and dependent children and grandchildren. If more than one son is considered to be the head of a different family after the death of his father, each family can receive the help of the Kalia scheme.
